CRO osteogenesis imperfecta: Lunatum Biotech is a preclinical CRO with a special focus on CRO bone services offering well-established, valid, and reproducible in-vitro and in-vivo osteogenesis imperfecta models:


in-vitro:

- 2D and 3D culture of mesenchymal stem cells, and bone cells, single culture or co-culture system, using cells from various species, including human cells

OI mouse models:


 homozygous OIM/OIM model: 

  OIM mouse (B6C3Fe a/a-Col1a2oim/J), OI type III, severe; male/female; it is the most commonly used OI model and the only non-lethal murine model resembling the OI type III human disease; mutated gene: Col1a2


CRTAP mouse model:

  CRTAP mouse (B6129S7-Crtaptm1Brie/J), OI type VII, moderate; male/female; this model resembles OI that is caused by a protein envolved in collagen I processing; mutated gene: Crtap
